Configuring Zonealarm Pro v5

**WARNING** Use of this firewall with eMule can give you some problems at the moment. We would advise users to try a free alternative, such as Kerio or Sygate. **WARNING**

Zonealarm is another easy firewall to configure, simply follow these steps:

Step 1 - Open ZoneAlarm and then click on the tab labeled "Firewall", from here you want to look to the "internet zone" box and click the "Custom" button that appears in this section.

Step 2 - Check the appropriate boxes and enter the information as it appears in the image below. Check the box for "allow outgoing UDP Ports and enter the numbers as follows "4662, 4672" without the quotes. Also check the box for "allow outgoing TCP" and enter 4662 and 4672.

Step 3 - Launch eMule.

Step 4 - Once eMule is launched, a window will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen (see image), simply click "remember this decision" and click "Yes".
