Norman Personal Firewall v1.4

Norman’s firewall is quite tricky to handle compared with other products and not easy to configure.

Step 1 - Click on the icon in your taskbar for the Norman firewall and go to Settings!

Step 2 - Open the Security part of the program.

Step 3 - Set Rules for eMule.

Step 4 - This new window allows you to add emule.exe to the "trusted applications". Click on the "Add…" button.

Step 5 - First, click on "Application shown above". Then point to your emule.exe file with "Browse…" button. Next, you have to permit emule.exe to connect to the network. This can be done in the upper part of the window. Order the firewall to accept incoming as well as outgoing information with "Both".

Step 6 - Press the OK button and eMule should work fine.
